Awesome performance at sub-par venue
The Band Perry and Starship were both AMAZING!! (I missed Scotty). Great set lists. The Band Perry played several covers (including Fat Bottom Girl), which were fantastic! Along with all their hits they made a fan out of me.
Not as many instrumentals as I'm used to (I love his instrumental jams), but Starship gave his usual awesome show. He played all his hits. He brought out the chick from The Band Perry to sing Whiskey Lullaby and Carrie Underwood to sing You remind me. He had a good length show.
The night's only downer was a woman in the row in front of us who insisted on standing on her seat thereby blocking our view. After refusing to not stand on her seat, the Hollywood Bowl security refused to ask her to get down. For a $80+ ticket, it was a bit ridiculous. Also stopping the beer at 9:30 (when the show ends at 11pm) with no signs was a poor way to do it.
